Worst experience we’ve had with a property on Booking.com Positive: Nice apartment but not worth $500 per night Negative: I rarely leave reviews but my experience with this property was far below the standard I’ve come to expect with properties on Booking.com. Beware this apartment is in the same building as Quest, but it’s privately owned, so the Quest reception staff won’t be able to assist you. Make sure you read the fine print that says you need to pick up the keys from a different location - an IGA store. Fine, unless your flights are delayed and you can’t make it to the IGA before it closes, and the property owner is out of town and has no backup plan for guests to get the keys. Initially I was told I should have let them know earlier, even though I messaged the moment we found out our flights were delayed. It took me getting grumpy before the owner offered to coordinate an uber to pick up the keys 15 minutes before the IGA closed, which made for a stressful arrival. When we got to the door of the apartment the next problem was that an entry code was needed. It took another 45 minutes of messaging the owner before we eventually got into the apartment. To top it off, the keys have to be returned to the IGA, rather than just leaving them in the apartment. If I’m booking a $500+ per night property, I expect a smooth, stress-free check in process. This was far too much drama. Would not book again or recommend.
